June 6th, 11:30 am - Celebration of Service Honoring Pastor Mike & Ellen Goode as they prepare for their new preaching assignment. Bring a covered dish to share. June 10th @ 6:30 pm - Practice for June 13th Service; meet in the upstairs sanctuary June 13th - Pleasantville leads the 10:30 Worship Service. Meet in the Sanctuary @ 9:45. June 13th, 12:30 - Tubing on the Dan! If you signed up for this trip make sure to be here on time! We will pull out of the church parking lot at 12:30. Late depart = late arrival = miss our launch time. :( DON'T BE LATE!! June 20th - Father's Day: Pleasantville will present special recognitions at both worship services June 28-July 2: Soul Food Cooking School (roster is full) July 11th - Homeland Creamery "Field Trip" We will leave the church at 4 pm for a quick drive to Bowman's Dairy & Homeland Creamery to enjoy the best ice cream anywhere! July 26-30th - Recreation Camp @ Mt. Pleasant Sign Ups begin June 1st! Roster limited to 24 children in grades Kindergarten thru 5th. $20 fee per camper. ACTS CHILDREN'S WORSHIP
10:30 am on Sunday Mornings in the Fellowship Center
All Come Together to Serve Christ!!! Come and worship with us on Sunday mornings at ACTS where we learn about serving God and each other! Worship incorporates a variety of multi-media with music, dance, and games, as well as service alongside various traditional elements. ACTS is open to children ages 5 years through 4th grade.
FIT CLUB
Faith Inspired Training ~ Meets every Tuesday @ 6:30 pm
FIT Club is a 30 minute boot camp style workout led by personal trainer, fitness guru, and Follower of Christ, Ben Roberts of Foundation Fitness in Greensboro. Workouts are such that ANYONE can participate regardless of fitness level or physical limitations. We encourage churchwide participation! This is not just for children! Join us and have your first workout at no charge! Tuesday evenings are $5 per person (children under 8 are at no charge); FIT Club meets at other times during the week for run/walk/jog & core training. Stay tuned for updates on the 5K!
NORTH EAST MCLEANSVILLE 4-H CLUB
Meets once a month on the third Thursday from 6-8pm
4-H has provided great experiences for children, youth, and adults over the past 50 years, reaching over 30,000 teens and children each year. 4-H is much more than showing cows and growing vegetables! With programming that collaborates with state universities and provides instruction and activities in science, engineering, agriculture, policy making, politics, citizenship, and government to name just a few, 4-H truly has something for EVERYONE! 4-H has opportunities for all with programming geared for children ages 5-18 years.

Mt. Pleasant & Pleasantville support the Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts of America with several groups meeting at Mt. Pleasant.
