Below are opportunities to reach out and serve our community.
Mount Pleasant hosts two blood drives every year. We always need volunteers to help check in and work the canteen. We Always need more donors. For every blood donation, three lives can be saved. For more information about how you can help with drives, donations, or dates please contact the church office. Coordinator: Jeff Phipps
We take orders and distribute Angel Food each month. Please check out the packages and specials to see if you might be interested.

If you are looking for a way to help provide the necessities for the elderly, check out Meals on wheels. Volunteers generally deliver meals once a month to the elderly community who are unable to get out on their own. Coordinator: June Rierson
Urban Ministries has been a big part of helping with homelessness in Greensboro. If you would like to donate, volunteer, or get more information please click the Urban Ministries logo or call our office, 336-697-0444, to find out how you can plug in.
Partnership Village is a transitional housing area for those trying to move from being homeless into being self reliant. Each Thursday this summer volunteers from Mount Pleasant go and feed and play games with the children and partnership Village. If you're interested in helping Thursday's or in other ways please contact the church at 336-697-0444.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: If you knit or crochet, please inquire about our Prayer Shawl ministry that reaches out to those sick and in need of healing. Each shawl is blessed before being delivered. This is a big way we can care for our congregation and community who are hurting. Coordinator: Ellen Goode Distributor: Pastor Liz
