Mt. Pleasant Childcare
Mt. Pleasant C.D.C. is an outreach ministry of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church serving children from Greensboro, McLeansville, Whitsett, Gibsonville and surrounding Eastern Guilford County.
All policies are established by the Mt. Pleasant C.D.C. Board of Directors.
Our Program
We offer a full-day, year-round childcare program Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our flexible program allows parents to register their children for:
Full-day care
Half-day care, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Any combination of days that best meets their family's needs
Registration for our fall preschool program is available year-round.
After-School Program
Our after-school program operates from August through the last day of the Guilford County Schools (GCS) calendar. We offer flexible scheduling with both weekly and daily rates.
We generally serve students from Sedalia, McLeansville, and Gibsonville schools. Registration for our after-school program is available year-round.
Summer Programs
We offer summer programs for both preschool and school-age children. Our summer program provides a variety of engaging on-site and off-site learning experiences, activities, and opportunities to make the most of the summer months.
Summer registration is separate from our other programs. Our summer program typically begins in June and continues through August, following the Guilford County Schools summer break schedule.
Summer registration begins in March of each year.
