Mount Pleasant UMC in Eastern Greensboro, NC is excited to host another season of Upward Basketball! Our program is open to girls and boys ages 5–8 and provides a fun, encouraging environment where kids can learn basketball skills, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a team.
Players from all over the area are welcome to join the fun, including Greensboro, Whitsett, McLeansville, and Burlington!

2026–2027 Season
Registration: August 17 – November 11, 2026
Player Evaluations: Saturday, November 14
Ages 5–6: 9:00–10:00 a.m.
Ages 7–8: 10:00–11:00 a.m.
Parent & Coach Meeting: Monday, November 30 at 6:15 p.m.
First Practice: Week of December 7, 2026
First Game: Saturday, January 9, 2027
Season Ends: February 13, 2027, with awards immediately following the games.
Registration Fee: $60 per child - $5 off for additional siblings
Scholarships are available.
